About Me

The shape of the global future rests with the reflexivity of human consciousness – the capacity to think critically about why we think what we do – and then to think and act differently. (Paul Raskin 2006 in Sterling 2009)

My name is Orana Sandri and I’m a PhD Candidate and tutor at the School of Global Studies Social Science & Planning at RMIT University, Melbourne. I am committed to advancing sustainability education, focusing particularly on embedding systems thinking in higher education. This research focus has been inspired by experience of EfS pedagogy in praxis whilst both studying and teaching at RMIT, and research work in sustainability, organisational change and learning and teaching (L&T) fields.

This blog provides a forum for me to share resources, insights and processes from my research and get feedback on these ideas as they evolve.
